What we're looking for

- You possess a Bachelor's, Engineering, Architecture, or Graduate Degree + Master's (MECES level 3) (degree officially recognized in Spain or a certificate of equivalence issued by the General Secretariat of Universities)
- Valid type B driver's license in Spain.
- From 1 day to 2 years of experience in the functions of the required field (experience with employment contracts and/or academic experience)
Nice to have
- Official Master's in Remote Sensing, Land Use Planning and/or GIS
- Drone pilot license

Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in works related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to hire 1 Bachelor's or Graduate Degree + Master's in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing - Xylella (Mallorca) in Mallorca
What you'll do
- Generation of thematic cartography, technical maps, and documentary technical support
- Management, monitoring, and maintenance of the agricultural meteorological station network, including the preparation of cartographic studies and technical reports for the optimal selection of their locations
- Mapping and field sampling for the monitoring and control of nitrate levels in agricultural plots
- Prepare partial, annual, and final reports
- Updating of the laboratory databases in GIS (IDEIB)
- Updating, management, and structuring of geospatial databases and agricultural records (Registre Vitícola / SIGPAC)
- Processing, validation, and preparation of vector data and cartographic layers for their integration into official bodies (FEGA and IDEIB Platform)
- Spatial analysis of agricultural and environmental data using GIS tools and interpretation of orthophotographs and remote sensing images
- Planning and execution of field inspections of vineyards via drone, performing the subsequent photogrammetric processing of the collected information
How you'll work
- The application period will be open from today, 26/10/2026, until the next 09/11/2026 at 23:59 (peninsular time).
A fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months is offered, with the option of extension if appropriate and respecting the maximum duration limits established in the current labor legislation for each contractual modality. The type and duration of the contract will depend on the reason for hiring, the project, and the circumstances of the selected person/s.
