R&D+i Development Director

🤝 What will your day-to-day look like if you join the R&D team?

• Identify opportunities for new products and improvements, assessing their feasibility and strategic alignment.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute R&D projects in collaboration with internal teams and external entities.

• Identify, develop, and incorporate new technologies and materials through continuous technology scouting.

• Manage relationships and agreements with suppliers and strategic partners to drive innovation.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and represent the company before R&D-related organizations and institutions.

• Lead team management (approx. 25 people), fostering a positive work environment, developing talent, aligning people with the unit's objectives, and facilitating collaboration and conflict resolution.

📍Valencia province and/or northern Alicante. Work center: Atzeneta d'Albaida.

• Higher education degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field; a PhD or Master's degree in R&D or related areas will be positively valued.

• Consolidated experience (8-10 years) in R&D environments, with at least 3-5 years leading teams and innovation projects, preferably in the cosmetics industry (experience in a Mercadona-like environment is highly valued).

• Knowledge of R&D project management, technology scouting, product development, applicable regulations, and collaboration with public and private entities;

• We are looking for a person oriented toward results and continuous improvement, with an analytical and strategic mindset and strong leadership and team development skills.
