The role

Multinational company for the development of large industrial and logistical projects, Data Centers, with a clear internal orientation towards people and in an expansion phase, is seeking a document controller in Barcelona. Among its main functions:

What you'll do

Implement and administer the project's electronic document management system (EDMS), including folder structure, metadata, permissions, and workflows.
Establish and maintain naming conventions, coding, and revision control, aligned with standards
Coordinate and register technical submittals (materials, methods, shop drawings) and their review/approval cycle with engineering, QA/QC, and the client.
Manage RFIs (Requests for Information): reception, distribution, tracking of responses and closure, complying with established SLAs.
Issue and track transmittals, ensuring the correct distribution and acknowledgment of receipt of critical documents.
Control commissioning documentation: protocols, tests (FAT/SAT), punch lists, reports, and evidence for handover.
Administer final delivery packages: as-built, O&M manuals, warranty, certificates, compliance matrices, and training records.
Maintain periodic documentary audits: verification of metadata, integrity, versions, and compliance with templates and standards.
