Digital Law Corporate Lawyer

• At least 5 years of experience in a law firm, a Big Four, or in-house legal counsel, with proven experience in Data Protection, Digital Law, or New Technologies, and in technological contracting.
• Business orientation and the ability to understand the operational needs of different areas.
• Ability to manage projects autonomously.
• Negotiation and communication skills.
• Practical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in technological innovation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Registered as a lawyer, or capable of becoming registered.
• Postgraduate training in Data Protection, Digital Law, or New Technologies.

At IskayPet, we are looking to hire a Senior Technician - Digital Law Corporate Lawyer to reinforce specialized legal advice in Digital Law and commercial contracting within the Corporate area of the Legal Department, in our Madrid offices, as a strategic business partner, accompanying innovation, data, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and technology initiatives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and constantly evolving environment.

Drive the company's digital transformation from a legal perspective, providing practical, business-oriented advice aligned with the corporate strategy.

• Advise on matters of personal data protection and privacy.
• Participate in the review and design of new processing activities and business projects.
• Prepare and review impact assessments, risk analyses, and compliance documentation.
• Provide support in managing and resolving inquiries related to personal data.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors on privacy matters.
• Analyze and advise on Artificial Intelligence projects developed or used by the company.
• Participate in the implementation of regulatory requirements applicable to AI systems.
• Evaluate legal risks associated with the use of new technologies and digital tools.
• Collaborate with the Data & AI teams in the implementation of innovative solutions for the business.
• Advise on e-commerce initiatives, marketplaces, loyalty programs, and digital channels.
• Review general terms and conditions, privacy policies, cookies, and digital documentation aimed at customers.
• Provide support for promotional campaigns, digital marketing actions, and customer experience projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technological contracts of various natures, including licensing agreements, software development, SaaS, cloud, maintenance, support, technological outsourcing, and digital services.
• Draft, review, and negotiate service provision and commercial collaboration contracts involving the processing of personal data, the use of technologies, and/or solutions based on artificial intelligence.
• Participate in the definition and improvement of contractual models, standard clauses, and internal procedures related to commercial, digital, and technological contracting.
• Act as a business partner for corporate and operational areas.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and operational solutions.
• Participate in strategic projects with cross-functional impact throughout the organization.
• Contribute to the generation of a culture of compliance and responsible innovation.
