The department's mission is to constantly monitor regulatory changes, manage regulatory alerts, and establish positions in coordination with the various areas within its scope of competence. Additionally, through the Regulatory Implementation Management (RIM) function, we control and coordinate the implementation of all regulations affecting the CaixaBank Group. To do so, we detect regulatory developments affecting the Group; we inform management, subsidiaries, and international branches; we ensure the adaptation of policies, processes, contracts, and systems in line with new regulations; and we prepare reports for the Governing Bodies on published regulations and the status of implementation projects.
Expert in legal matters who advises the entity to ensure compliance with current regulations at all times and to resolve issues that may arise in different areas (commercial, labor, procedural, etc.) and avoid sanctions. The legal advisor may intervene in negotiation processes, advise on procurement, draft contracts, provide policy advice, etc.
