NDT Technologist - Statics & Structures

• Education: Vocational training (FPII) or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies, or similar.
• Required experience: at least 3 years of experience in special processes, mainly NDT processes.
• Required knowledge:

- Manufacturing processes

- Level 2 in non-destructive testing (preferably FPI, X-ray, IR)

- Languages: English, First Certificate level or equivalent.

- Knowledge of chemical processes will be valued

• Experience in the following areas will be valued, though not required:

- Materials (Metallography)

- General machining

- Welding processes, dimensional verification

- Management software: Teamcenter, SAP

What is the objective of this position? What is the expected outcome?

We are looking for professionals to join our team in manufacturing technologies with a focus on NDT within the Static & Structures Business Unit.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting manufacturing processes for new components, liaising with process engineering, quality, maintenance, and tooling.
• Defining and validating data cards.
• Identifying and implementing improvements needed to industrialize the product and achieve reductions in time, product cost, and non-quality costs.
• Supporting production and continuous process improvement.
• Internal audits (confirmations).
• Supporting audits (NADCAP, AENOR, customer-specific).

You will work in the Bizkaia technology park.
