Consultant Tech - Backend Developer

• Previous experience of at least 3 years in data platform development or Big Data architectures.

• Knowledge of real-time and batch data processing with tools such as Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).

• Development in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java for data manipulation and processing.

• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Motivation to learn about Data Governance, ETL, and event-driven architectures.

• English level B2 or higher.

• Analytical skills, optimization mindset, and teamwork.

• Experience with Data Governance tools such as Apache Atlas or DataHub.

• Certifications in data management and distributed platforms.

• Design, develop, and optimize the data platform architecture at Libelium.

• Implement data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.

• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases optimized for efficient data storage and querying.

• Integrate data from IoT devices, external APIs, and distributed data sources.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services for data processing and access.

• Implement Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures adapted to business needs.

• Ensure data security and governance, applying best practices in access control and encryption.

• Monitor and optimize platform performance, detecting and resolving bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (developers, data analysts, DevOps) to ensure efficient integration.

We highly value at least 3 years of experience in scalable data architectures, real-time data processing, and efficient storage.

We are looking for a profile with knowledge in Big Data environments, data pipelines, distributed databases and efficient information processing.
