The role

We are looking for a Technology Solutions Sales Representative with experience in the public sector, specialized in business development and the management of public administration tender specifications.

This is not about managing an existing portfolio, but about opening markets, building relationships with the Administration, and converting the needs of cities and public bodies into real digital transformation projects.

You will join a growing team, with turnover that must increase year after year. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on the company's results.

A position with real autonomy, direct impact on turnover, and space to grow.

A culture based on camaraderie, closeness, and a shared vision of using technology to build a better world.

What you'll do

  • Business development and consultative selling

    • Identify and explore new markets and public opportunities in your area, mainly at a local and regional level, with a vision for European expansion.

    • Practice consultative selling: understand the challenges of each administration and propose solutions based on iris360 and IoT that provide measurable results.

    • Design and execute the commercial development plan for your area to capture projects and tenders, leading the negotiation and closing of contracts.

    • Research the market to anticipate needs, trends, and calls for tenders.

  • Tender and specification management

    • Draft, present, and manage tender specifications, ensuring that each proposal responds to the real needs of the client.

    • Prepare budgets adjusted to each specification and each organization.

  • Relations and alliances

    • Build strategic and lasting relationships with public officials and project leaders.

    • Proactively follow up with your clients to maximize opportunities in your area or vertical.

    • Collaborate with strategic partners on joint proposals and projects, and seek new alliances that expand our presence in the public sector.

    • Represent Libelium at trade fairs, congresses, and industry events.

Key Competencies

• Consultative mindset: you listen, diagnose, and propose, instead of merely selling a product.

• Proactivity and results orientation: you set ambitious objectives and pursue them with

constancy.

• Social and networking skills: you generate trust easily and maintain long-term relationships.

• Autonomy and organization to manage several tender processes at once.

• Growth mindset and teamwork: you want to grow with an expanding company.

• Commitment to Libelium's values: Connect, Drive, Transform.

In their own words

About the company & team

Libelium has been creating technology from Spain for over 20 years and is today an international benchmark in IoT and digital twins. What began as an IoT sensor and hardware company has evolved into a much higher-value proposition: we turn data into decisions.

With ♾️iris360, our own platform, we integrate data from our IoT devices, from public

public and third-party, and we combine them with artificial intelligence to create digital twins that allow for visualizing the present, anticipating scenarios, and deciding better. We help administrations and organizations to:

• Manage air quality and low emission zones (envair360).

• Improve the efficiency and security of critical infrastructures, such as the electrical grid (grid360).

• Commit to intelligent and evidence-based public governance.

• Protect and manage sustainable heritage and tourist destinations, as in our project with the Alhambra.

We are present in more than 120 countries. Now we face a new stage: driving in Europe our new business model, with Public Administration as a strategic client.

♾️iris360 is Libelium's core platform: a multi-tenant SaaS/On-premise ecosystem for IoT data management, Digital Twins, and European Data Spaces. It is deployed in hybrid environments (OVH Cloud + AWS) and in on-premise installations in more than 50 cities, with clients ranging from public administrations (Asturias DXC, Cartagena, European municipalities) to international organizations (UNDP, UNECE).

The platform grows in modules (envair360, grid360) and each new project involves a replicated deployment of the base infrastructure.

Currently, we are looking to strengthen the team. We firmly believe that data is the new language of communication between administrations, companies, and citizens, facilitating the creation of a positive impact on the planet.

  • Our 🎯 MISSION: We transform data from companies and cities into decisions that make our planet more sustainable.

  • Our 👁️ VISION: To build a resilient, connected, and data-driven future, collaborating with agents of change who share our values.

  • Our 💎 VALUES We connect reality with intelligence, empower decisions with precision, and transform data into a sustainable impact.
