What we're looking for

You are our ideal candidate if...

You have a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Agro-food Engineering, or similar, providing complementary training in Lean Manufacturing, Productive Quality, and Team Management.
You bring solid experience holding Industrial Plant Management positions, preferably in the food sector, and in a high-growth environment.
You have experience in team management and leadership, you are used to working with KPIs/Indicators, and you are accustomed to working towards objectives with a continuous improvement focus.
You have led, at some point in your career, the startup of new production units.
You are a person with good communication and leadership skills, who knows how to work autonomously, who has a high sense of responsibility and commitment, with ease of adaptation to change, with good analytical capacity, and with an orientation towards objectives.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an important Catalan business group dedicated to the marketing and distribution of fresh products, located in the La Selva region with a significant national presence, and which currently has a growth plan that requires them to incorporate a PRODUCTION DIRECTOR who brings solid experience in industrial plant management, preferably in a company within the food sector.

What you'll do

Reporting and depending directly on the Production and Maintenance Management, and being the maximum person responsible for the plant's productive activity, the main responsibilities of the selected person will focus on:

Planning, supervising, monitoring, and controlling the plant's productive activity in all its phases, while also having to continuously analyze, optimize, and improve production procedures and processes.
Identifying, quantifying, evaluating, and optimizing production costs, organized by production processes and by products, performing continuous evaluation and proposing optimizations, as well as controlling shrinkage by defining and implementing a system to control it and preparing the corresponding control report.
Analysis, monitoring, and optimization of production indicators/KPIs.
Control, review, and optimization of stock.
Controlling and managing incidents, both internal (related to production, teams, processes, downtime, and machinery) and external (client).
Managing, coordinating, and leading the production area work team.
Managing all documentation directly related to Production (DPTs, organizational chart, processes, procedures, work instructions,...).
Participating actively in the implementation and dissemination of the quality culture in the production area.
Attending all meetings that have a direct impact on the Production area (Maintenance, Quality, general plant meeting,...).
