From Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an international company specialized in transport and logistics based in Alt Empordà, which is currently looking to add to its team a FLEET MANAGER / FREIGHT MANAGER.

The selected person will be responsible for planning and coordinating transport operations, ensuring efficient management of drivers, vehicles, and assigned loads. Their main objective will be to ensure compliance with delivery deadlines, optimize the profitability of operations, and maintain a high level of satisfaction for both clients and drivers.

• Manage and coordinate the daily activity of assigned drivers and carriers.

• Plan and assign loads efficiently to maximize fleet productivity and profitability.

• Continuously monitor transport operations and resolve any incidents that may affect pickups or deliveries.

• Maintain constant and proactive communication with drivers, clients, and internal departments.

• Manage situations arising from mechanical breakdowns, traffic incidents, weather conditions, or last-minute changes from clients.

• Supervise waiting times and optimize the use of vehicles and available resources.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and environmental procedures.

• Collaborate in the preparation and maintenance of audits and certifications such as ISO 9001, GMP+, or SQAS.

• Report incidents, non-conformities, risks, accidents, and near misses to the HSE department.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and the satisfaction of

clients and drivers.
