Head of Studies Department (Girona - Industrial Projects)

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a major company in the industrial sector, specialized in engineering services, process automation, technical installations, and maintenance for all types of sectors, focused on innovation, operational efficiency, and optimization of production processes, with several branches across the territory, and currently in the midst of growth and expansion. To support their growth project, they need to hire a HEAD OF STUDIES DEPARTMENT with experience in preparing technical studies and technical bids.

• Leading the Studies Department, ensuring the technical and economic analysis of projects, and managing a technical team of three people.
• Preparing technical studies and competitive, viable bids, directly contributing to the company's profitability and efficiency.
• Defining the optimal technical solutions for each project, preparing detailed budgets, and drafting competitive bids in the market.
• Defining the department's competitive strategy, through analysis of the competition and the definition of prices and margins, identifying the company's differentiating factors against the competition.
• Acting as a liaison and coordination figure with Production, Purchasing, and Engineering, to ensure that the project and the prepared budget are feasible.
• Organizing and supervising the Studies Department, training and developing the team, and distributing tasks fairly.
• Carrying out meticulous monitoring and control of deviations, analyzing project profitability and the reasons for those deviations.
• Actively participating in and leading the improvement of processes and efficiency, through digitalization and automation, and making improvement proposals, both technical and economic.

Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering at the Girona branch, the main tasks of the selected candidate will focus on:

• You have a degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering, and/or a degree in Industrial Organization Engineering.
• You bring at least 4-5 years of experience having worked as a Technical Officer in Studies, whether in an engineering firm or in the Engineering Department of an end-user industrial company, with experience in managing technical teams being valued.
• You have solid knowledge of electrical systems and process automation, in addition to being fully accustomed to preparing technical bids and developing projects, and you are also used to dealing with Purchasing departments and Suppliers.
• You are an organized and methodical person, with planning and analysis skills, who is left-handed and empathetic when dealing with all types of people, results-oriented and focused on continuous improvement, you like working towards objectives, and you demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to convey technical concepts.

RESPONSABLE DEPARTAMENT ESTUDIS (GIRONA - PROJECTES INDUSTRIALS)

Des de Paul Marlex estem col·laborant amb una important empresa del sector industrial, especialitzada en serveis d'enginyeria, automatització de processo, instal·lacions tècniques i manteniment per a tot tipus de sectors, enfocada en la innovació, l'eficiència operativa l'optimització de processos productius, que compta amb diferents delegacions repartides arreu del territori, i que actualment es troba en ple procés de creixement i expansió. Per tal de donar resposta al seu projecte de creixement, requereixen incorporar un/a RESPONSDABLE D'ESTUDIS que compti amb experiència en l'elaboració d'estudis tècnics i ofertes tècniques.

• Liderar el Departament d'Estudis, garantint l'anàlisi tècnica i econòmica dels projectes, i gestionant un equip tècnic format per tres persones.
• Elaborar estudis tècnics i ofertes competitives i viables, contribuint directament en la rendibilitat i l'eficiència de l'empresa.
• Definir les soluciones tècniques òptimes per a cada projecte, elaborat pressupostos detalls i redactant ofertes competitives en el mercat.
• Definir l'estratègia competitiva del departament, a través de l'anàlisi de la competència i de la definició de preus i marges, identificant els factors diferencials de l'empresa vers la competència.
• Actuar d'enllaç, com a figura de coordinació, amb Producció, Compres i Enginyeria, per garantir que el projecte i el pressupost elaborats son factibles.
• Organitzar i supervisar el Departament d'Estudis, formant i desenvolupant a l'equip i distribuint tasques de manera equitativa.
• Realitzar un acurat seguiment i control de les desviacions, analitzant la rendibilitat dels projectes i el perquè de les desviacions.
• Participar i liderar, de manera activa, la millora de processos i l'eficiència, a través de la digitalització i l'automatització, i realitzant propostes de millora, tant tècniques com econòmiques.

Reportant i depenent directament del/la Responsable d'Enginyeria de la Delegació de Girona, les tasques principals de la persona seleccionada es centraran en:

• Comptes amb formació a nivell d'Enginyeria Tècnica, preferiblement Elèctrica i/o Electrònica, i/o a nivell d'Enginyeria Superior Industrial i/o Organització Industrial.
• Aportes una experiència mínima de 4-5 anys havent treballant com a Tècnic/a d'Estudis, ja sigui en una Enginyeria o en un Departament d'Enginyeria d'empresa final del sector industrial, essent valorable comptar amb experiència en gestió d'equips tècnics.
• Comptes amb sòlids coneixements elèctrics i d'automatització de processos, a més d'estar totalment acostumat/da a realitzar ofertes tècniques i elaborar projectes, i també estan habituat/a a tractar amb departaments de Compres i amb Proveïdors.
• Ets algú organitzada i metòdica, amb capacitat de planificació i anàlisi, que tens ma esquerra i capacitat empàtica per tractar amb tot tipus de persones, que comptes amb orientació a resultats i a la millora contínua, que t'agrada treballar per objectius, i que mostres bones habilitats comunicatives i facilitat per la transmissió de conceptes tècnics.
