Requirements

What we're looking for

Industrial Engineering degree or similar.
5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in sheet metal work (laser cutting, bending, welding, etc.).
Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in generating drawings and technical documentation.
Knowledge of DFM / DFA and manufacturing orientation.
Experience in managing technical projects and/or teams.
Advanced French is essential for client dealings (other languages valued).
Analytical skills, leadership, results orientation, and an overall view of the process.

Nice to have

Knowledge of industrial ERP (valued: OUI - APM).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or QRM (valued).

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an industrial company in Bages with a strong international client focus that is looking to hire a Head of Technical Office to lead the technical area and manage industrial projects comprehensively.

The position requires a person with an engineering background and experience in a production environment, with the ability to take overall responsibility for the process: from design through to production execution.

What you'll do

Lead and organize the Technical Office team.
Manage technical projects from the initial phase through to production.
Ensure designs are oriented toward manufacturing and assembly (DFM / DFA).
Define, validate, and optimize manufacturing files.
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and quality departments.
Follow up on prototypes and resolve incidents.
Provide direct technical liaison with international clients (especially the French market).
Ensure consistency between design (SolidWorks) and ERP.
Drive continuous improvement of processes and information flows.
