What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial positions, preferably in industrial machinery, construction machinery, equipment rental, industrial supplies, or related sectors.
Knowledge of machinery, such as earthmoving equipment, aerial work platforms, generators, or other industrial equipment.
Experience in client acquisition, negotiation, and portfolio management.
Commercial skills, results orientation, and negotiation ability.
Autonomy, initiative, and good communication skills.
Residence in El Ejido or surroundings, or availability to travel throughout the province of Almería.

Nice to have

We will especially value having an active client portfolio in the area and previous experience in machinery rental or sale.

The role

At Marlex we are looking for an Industrial, Agricultural and Construction Machinery Sales Representative to join a consolidated company in the machinery sector, specializing in the rental and sale of equipment for different sectors.

We are looking for a person with a commercial profile, technical knowledge, and customer orientation, who wants to develop their activity in the province of Almería, expanding the client portfolio and offering solutions adapted to the needs of each project.

What you'll do

Prospecting and acquisition of new clients in the construction, industry, and services sectors.
Commercial visits to companies in the area to detect business opportunities.
Technical advice on machinery rental and sale solutions, identifying the most suitable equipment for each need.
Preparation of quotes, negotiation of commercial conditions, and closing of operations.
Management, follow-up, and loyalty of the existing client portfolio.
Recovery of inactive clients and development of new commercial opportunities.
Follow-up of operations and coordination with internal teams to guarantee good customer service.
Market analysis and detection of new business opportunities in the assigned area.
