HSE and Occupational Risk Prevention Technician

• Deep knowledge of legal regulations regarding safety, occupational health, and the environment.

• Training and experience in Integrated Management Systems (ISO 45001) and participation in audits.

• Knowledge in coordination of business activities (CAE) and use of management platforms.

• Competencies in drafting and updating technical documentation, emergency plans, and procedures.

• Experience of between 2 and more than 5 years holding similar HSE positions in highly regulated industrial environments, such as the chemical industry, hazardous products industry, or industrial environments with high regulation.

• Participation in continuous improvement projects and internal audits.

• Analytical capacity, great attention to detail, autonomy when facing problems, and a strong sense of ownership.

• Ability to coordinate teams, lead improvement projects, and influence others effectively. Good oral and written communication to provide training and represent the company before external organizations.

• English level B2 or higher (spoken and written).

• Advanced use of MS Office tools.

• Commitment to sustainability and preventive culture.

We are looking for a person with a background in Occupational Risk Prevention, Industrial Safety, and Chemical Industry Engineering to carry out the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of safety, health, and environmental management systems at the plant. Their main objective will be to guarantee regulatory compliance, reduce operational risks, and contribute to a solid and sustainable preventive culture within a highly regulated environment.

• You will supervise regulatory compliance regarding health and safety (Occupational and Industrial Risk Prevention), applicable to both our own staff and contractors.

• You will plan, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective actions, performing risk assessments to identify improvements and ensure their execution.

• You will lead Process Safety management, guaranteeing the operational safety of processes and providing safety sign-off for new equipment, facilities, and ergonomic assessments.

• You will investigate and record occupational accidents and incidents, analyzing their causes and proposing measures to prevent them from recurring.

• You will prepare, review, and keep technical and preventive documentation up to date, including Emergency Plans, internal and external communications, and product Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

• You will provide training and information to the workforce on prevention, use of PPE, industrial hygiene, and best practices to promote safe behavior.

• You will perform inspections and internal audits of the management system to detect deviations and ensure legal and corporate compliance.

• You will coordinate closely with the technical area to maintain industrial machinery in safe conditions and participate in technical-operational risk assessments.

• You will coordinate and supervise the activities of the external prevention service (SPA).
