Maintenance Technician

• Excellent multidisciplinary diagnostic capacity: Knowing how to fluently interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and P&IDs to locate the real origin of the problem in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

• Technical dexterity in welding and repair: Practical mastery of TIG and stick welding to directly execute repairs, modifications, or assembly work with quality finishes.

• Documentary rigor and data orientation: A habit of meticulously recording actions performed in the CMMS, understanding that traceability and data quality are key to reducing the repetitive breakdown rate and improving MTTR.

• Impeccable safety mindset: Always prioritizing your own safety and that of your colleagues, applying standards such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) without shortcuts.

• Pragmatism, team attitude, and resilience: Maintaining clear and proactive communication, being decisive under pressure during a plant breakdown, and facing daily challenges with a desire to learn and a good sense of humor.

We are looking for a person with a background as a Maintenance Technician who, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, carries out preventive, corrective, and first-level maintenance of production equipment and facilities, guaranteeing safe, reliable, and available plant operation, acting as the first line of response to breakdowns and maintaining an accurate and traceable record of all interventions.

• Operational maintenance and breakdown resolution: You will be the first line of response to any mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic failure. You will diagnose and intervene quickly to reduce downtime and escalate complex cases to the Maintenance Manager.

• Execution of the preventive plan and calibrations: You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and the periodic calibration of measuring equipment, guaranteeing the reliability and traceability of the process.

• Accurate recording and documentation: You will complete and close work orders (WOs) in the CMMS system with detailed data for each breakdown, repair, or intervention performed.

• Spare parts control and plant support: You will keep the spare parts inventory in order, perform minor inspections and interventions in facilities, and collaborate in the assembly, pilot testing, and commissioning of new production equipment.

• Strict safety culture: You will work by rigorously applying safe work procedures (LOTO, safety regulations, and visual inspection in plant/ATEX environments).
