What are we looking for?

Training related to tourism or hospitality. Currently studying or with the ability to undertake an internship via a training agreement.
Advanced English.
Motivation and a willingness to learn.
Creativity and communication skills.

The role

Job mission: Support the department in accordance with Meliá Hotels International policies and procedures, with the aim of supporting employees in their growth and development.

What you'll do

Workforce monitoring.
Recruitment techniques.
Identifies internship needs, searches for schools and local universities to recruit students, and handles the procedures required to sign collaboration agreements with schools, while also following up on students (conducting follow-up interviews).
Welcomes new hires, follows up, and supports the internship tutor in evaluating students.
Supports the development of the hotel's annual training plan in coordination with the HR Business Partner or HR Coordinator, as applicable.
Ensures and supports department heads in implementing departmental procedures and coordinates the process of identifying training needs for all hotel staff.
Conducts phone screenings of candidates meeting the required profile, as well as interviews and candidate feedback reports.
Monitors, maintains, and improves the Employee Engagement Action Plan developed by department heads.
