Construction Director

Reporting to the General Management and coordinating with the Operations Director, the selected Construction Director will lead the civil construction area.

• Maintain relationships with clients, defend the technical component of projects, and support the owner in their commercial relationship with current and potential clients.
• Frequently visit the different public sector stakeholders.
• Economic planning and allocation of human and material resources within the project portfolio, in coordination with the operations management.
• Direct the planning of the site managers under their supervision.
• Monitor the works and support their team on a day-to-day basis, providing solutions for any deviations that may arise.
• Prepare and validate execution budgets.
• Monitor monthly costs, deviations, and performance.
• Validate technical solutions and possible changes to projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Ensure that the profit margin on the works meets expectations.
• Ensure that the relationship with group companies and external suppliers is appropriate to guarantee a profitable long-term relationship.
• Lead the team by providing knowledge, guidance, security, and warmth.

• Civil engineer.
• Must have previously managed (civil) works, especially small and medium-sized ones.
• Must have held roles as team leader, delegate, or construction director.
• Must know the main stakeholders of the companies/administrations operating in Girona: ACA, Generalitat, etc.
• Must hold certificates as a works delegate that accredit their experience.

• Mantenir la relació amb els clients, defensar el component tècnic dels projectes i acompanyar a la propietat en la seva relació comercial amb clients actuals i potencials.
• Visitar recurrentment els diferents actors dels sector públic.
• Planificació econòmica i assignació de recursos humans i materials dins de la cartera d'obres, amb coordinació amb la direcció d'operacions.
• Direcció de la planificació dels caps d'obra al seu càrrec.
• Seguiment de les obres i donar suport al seu equip en el dia a dia, donant solució per a les desviacions que puguin sortir.
• Elaborar i validar els pressupostos d'execució.
• Fer seguiment mensual de costos, desviacions i rendiments.
• Validar solucions tècniques i possibles canvis als projectes.
• Assegurar el compliment de normatives i estàndards de qualitat.
• Assegurar que el marge de les obres sigui l'esperat.
• Assegurar que la relació amb les empreses del grup i els proveïdors externs que hi pugui a ver sigui la correcta per tal de garantir una relació profitosa a llarg termini.
• Liderar l'equip aportant coneixement, orientació, seguretat i caliu humà.
