Financial Director / CFO

Industrial company in a phase of evolution and professionalization seeks to incorporate a Financial Director with a combination of strategic vision and solid execution capability. They will lead the financial function, drive the improvement of systems and processes, and participate in corporate growth and development initiatives.

Reporting to the General Management, the selected candidate will assume the following responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the company's financial, tax, and accounting areas.
• Manage invoicing, collections, payments, treasury, and customer credit risk control processes.
• Coordinate compliance with tax obligations and the relationship with external advisors.
• Prepare periodic financial reporting for management and shareholders.
• Participate in the definition and monitoring of the annual budget, forecasts, and strategic plan.
• Design, implement, and control financial, operational, and business KPIs.
• Analyze margins and profitability by customer, business line, product, and production process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procedures, processes, and management systems.
• Lead projects for the implementation, integration, or improvement of ERP, CRM, and Business Intelligence tools.
• Act as the main point of contact with financial institutions, auditors, and external advisors.
• Work cross-functionally with production, operations, commercial, and human resources to support decision-making.
• Conduct economic and financial viability analyses of industrial investments and growth projects.
• Support potential corporate development initiatives, including opportunity analysis, due diligence, and subsequent integration of acquired businesses.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and results orientation.

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent education.
• Postgraduate education in finance, financial management, or related disciplines is valued.
• Fluent level of Spanish, Catalan, and English.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management positions within the finance departments of industrial companies of significant size.
• Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in auditing and/or transactions at a Big Four firm or a top-tier professional services firm.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, management control, financial planning, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial environments, preferably related to metal manufacturing or transformation.
• Knowledge and experience in the implementation, adaptation, and improvement of business management tools (ERP, CRM, and BI).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or equivalent solutions is valued.
• Previous experience in corporate operations, acquisition processes, and company integration will be valued.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strategic vision.
