Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing within distribution or retail.
  • Advanced Excel, analytical capacity, negotiation, margins, and volume rebates.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Purchasing department of distribution or retail companies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience performing calculations of percentages, margins, and volume rebates.
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in ERP, preferably Navision or similar.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different areas of the organization.
  • Responsible, proactive, organized, and results-oriented profile.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or QlikView.

The role

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for the Retail sector in Alguazas, Murcia. The selected person will be responsible for managing and optimizing the purchasing process within the Retail department.

What you'll do

The main functions you will perform as a Purchasing Manager will be:

  • Manage purchases and perform follow-up with assigned suppliers.
  • Negotiate commercial conditions and agreements with suppliers.
  • Perform calculations and analysis of percentages, margins, and volume rebates.
  • Analyze data and commercial information to support the department's decision-making.
  • Prepare and monitor reports related to Purchasing activity.
  • Work with Excel at an advanced level and data analysis tools.
  • Use management ERPs, such as Navision or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient purchasing management.
  • Participate actively in the optimization and improvement of the area's processes.
