Requirements

What we're looking for

Education: Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Experience: More than 5 years in mechanical product design and development, from concept to manufacturing in an industry related to machinery or metallurgy, working directly with manufacturing, workshops, and suppliers.
Tools: Proficiency in Solid Edge or equivalent (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, NX, CATIA...).
Knowledge: GD&T and design standards (ISO, ASME, DIN, UNE).
Languages: Technical English. (Minimum B2)

The role

Reporting to the Technical Directorate, you will participate in the complete product development cycle, from requirements definition and design to industrialization and production startup.

What you'll do

Design and develop mechanical products and solutions from the conceptual phase to their industrialization.
Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge.
Define tolerances, GD&T, materials, finishes, welding, and technical documentation.
Perform mechanical calculations and participate in validation through simulation and prototypes.
Select materials and manufacturing processes, working closely with production, workshops, and suppliers.
Participate in FMEA, design reviews, and engineering change management.
Provide technical support during industrialization and resolve manufacturing and production startup issues.
