The role

We are looking for a Product Manager with experience in the chemical sector or related industries to lead the strategic and operational management of the portfolio within the organization. The role will be responsible for defining and optimizing the product range, coordinating relationships with international suppliers, analyzing markets, and working closely with the commercial team to maximize business competitiveness and profitability, in a dynamic environment based in Barcelona.

What you'll do

Reporting directly to the commercial director, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

Defining, managing, and optimizing the product portfolio (positioning, applications, target markets)
Leading relationships with international suppliers (mainly Europe)
Acting as a liaison between market, sales, and supply, translating needs into strategic actions
Defining and executing pricing policies with a focus on margin and profitability
Managing technical and commercial product inquiries in coordination with suppliers
Providing support on regulatory matters with a practical approach
Participating in strategic decisions regarding sourcing, portfolio, and positioning
Actively contributing to the transformation of the business toward a more professionalized model

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

Around 3 years of experience in Product Management in the chemical sector
Technical background (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or similar)
Experience working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders
Strong commercial orientation and understanding of pricing and margins
High level of English and Spanish (other languages are a plus)
Ability to work autonomously in agile environments (SME)
Profile with growth ambition and a hands-on mindset
Availability for occasional international travel (2-3 times per year)
