Quality Manager - Food Sector

An important international company in the food sector is looking to hire a Quality Manager for its facilities located in Baix Llobregat.

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System across the company's various centers.
• Establish and maintain the relationship with the competent bodies and authorities.
• Define, implement, and supervise the cleaning and disinfection plans for the assigned centers.
• Guarantee compliance with food hygiene and safety requirements, ensuring the conformity of the manufactured products.
• Design and provide training in Quality, Food Hygiene and Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, and Environment to the teams at the centers under their responsibility.
• Prepare periodic reports on the evolution of indicators and records related to the hygiene of the centers.
• Perform risk analysis and the identification of Critical Control Points (CCP) associated with new products or production processes, in coordination with the team responsible for HACCP.
• Carry out audits of products and suppliers at a local level, verifying that purchasing conditions and product conformity comply with the standards and requirements established by the organization.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures regarding quality management and data protection.
• Implement and ensure compliance with the company's environmental policy within their scope of responsibility.
• Prepare and supervise accident rate indicators, as well as coordinate the investigation of accidents and incidents.
• Coordinate the designation, availability, and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform the monitoring and control of Health and Safety committees.
• Coordinate and supervise aspects related to occupational risk prevention for temporary employment agencies (ETTs).
• Perform periodic inspections of the centers, verifying the established emergency, safety, and control measures.
• Develop the activities and assume the responsibilities contemplated in the Prevention Plan and in the Quality Management System.
• Guarantee at all times compliance with internal procedures regarding quality and data protection.

• Valuable: studies in a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Veterinary Science/Food Technology
• Previous experience of 2/3 years in a responsibility role in the quality area within the food sector.
• Availability to travel.
• Advanced level English is indispensable.
