Quality Technician/Specialist

• Education: Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in areas such as Chemistry and Environmental Health, Quality Control and Laboratory, Food Industry, Occupational Risk Prevention, or similar; or a University Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related degrees.
• Experience: previous specific experience in Quality is not essential. Experience in industrial plant environments, production, maintenance, supervision, or similar will be especially valued.
• Technical profile, meticulous, and with good analytical capacity.
• Attention to detail and ability to detect deviations.
• Proactive attitude, autonomy, and problem-solving capacity.
• Availability and interest in working both in the plant and in the laboratory.
• Organizational, communication, and ability to work with different departments.
• Orientation towards continuous improvement.
• User-level proficiency in office software tools.

• Valuable: intermediate level of English.

A company in the food industry sector, with a production environment and a clear orientation towards quality, food safety, and continuous improvement, is looking to incorporate a Quality Specialist into its team.

The selected person will join the Quality department and will receive progressive training both in the plant and in the laboratory, with the objective of acquiring a complete vision of the production processes and the quality and food safety systems.

The position is especially oriented towards profiles with a technical background, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn and develop professionally within the Quality area.

• Perform quality and food safety controls established both in the plant and in the laboratory.
• Verify process parameters, in-line controls, and records associated with production.
• Perform analysis of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Provide support to Production in resolving quality-related incidents.
• Collaborate in the management of non-conformities, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Support the maintenance and completion of records, procedures, and instructions of the quality and food safety management system.
• Participate in internal audits and collaborate in the preparation of customer and certification audits.
• Monitor quality and food safety indicators, helping to detect possible deviations.
• Participate in industrial trials and process changes together with Production, R&D, and Engineering.
• Contribute to the training and awareness of plant personnel regarding quality, hygiene, and food safety.
• Comply with and contribute to compliance with internal quality, food safety, occupational risk prevention, and environmental standards.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
