Tooling Section Manager (Machining)

Industrial company in the foundry sector is looking to hire a Tooling Section Manager within its machining area.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Organizing and distributing workloads among workshop personnel.
• Supervising manufacturing, machining, and fitting processes for tooling and fixtures for foundry and machining.
• Ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinating the team of operators, monitoring productivity and versatility.
• Managing technical issues and proposing continuous improvement actions.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance needs for machinery and equipment.
• Collaborating with the Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance departments to optimize production processes.
• Monitoring production indicators, efficiency, rejection rates, and manufacturing times.
• Participating in the training and development of workshop personnel.
• Performing simulations and analyses of foundry processes using specialized calculation and simulation software (QuikCAST).

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Advanced Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Mechanical Manufacturing, Machining, Industrial Design, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, machining, or foundry environments.
• Previous experience in coordinating or managing production teams.
• Knowledge of blueprint interpretation and mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of CAM and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Catia, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and industrial organization.
• Leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to resolve incidents.
