What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within the purchasing area.

• Knowledge and experience in using ERP; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be especially valued.

• Minimum English level B2.

• Accounting knowledge applied to the review and reconciliation of delivery notes and invoices.

• Knowledge of import and export documentation, customs procedures, and tariff headings.

• Organizational capacity, autonomy, and skills for incident resolution.

• Ability to work in a team and attention to detail.

• Availability to work on-site at the offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Pay & benefits

The role

At Marlex Professionals, we collaborate with a company in the industrial sector located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, which is looking to incorporate a

Purchasing Technician to provide support for the integral management of the purchasing process, supplier follow-up, and associated documentary control.

We are looking for an organized, decisive person with experience in the purchasing area, who knows the order management circuit and is capable of following them through to administrative and documentary closure.

What you'll do

• Manage and follow up on purchase orders, maintaining fluid communication with suppliers.

• Follow up on orders until the material is received and resolve any possible incidents that may arise during the process.

• Control material entries and verify the documentation associated with the operations.

• Manage and review delivery notes, invoices, and other documentation linked to the purchasing process, including the corresponding reconciliations.

• Prepare, review, and complete the necessary documentation for import and export operations, including customs documentation and tariff headings.

• Monitor stocks and detect possible shortages or incidents related to material availability.

• Work with the corporate ERP to register and keep updated the information regarding operations.

• Provide support for office administrative tasks, such as telephone assistance, receiving visitors, and managing messenger services and parcels at specific times.
