About the role

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will support the Front Office Manager in managing reception functions and the daily supervision of staff. This role involves striving to continuously improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize the department's financial performance. 

What you'll do

  • Direct and coordinate the department, applying service and quality standards. 
  • Manage and oversee guest concerns, always striving to exceed their expectations. 
  • Collaborate in overseeing and controlling the department's budget, ensuring positive results and implementing changes when necessary. 
  • Collaborate in preparing the monthly revenue forecast. 
  • Review and supervise the correct application of upselling and cross-selling policies within the reception team. 
  • Ensure that team members have up-to-date knowledge of the hotel's products, services, rates, and policies, as well as local areas, and receive ongoing training to learn and understand policies and practices. 
  • Communicate and convey a coherent message about the Front Office's goals and expected results, as well as crucial hotel information.

What we're looking for

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel Front Office, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent. 
  • Excellent command of the local language and a high level of English are essential.  
  • Practical knowledge of various software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.) and reception systems.  Knowledge of revenue management principles and commercial policies.
