About the role

We are looking for a Senior HSE Technician. Reporting to the Plant Health and Safety Prevention Manager, the purpose of the position is to ensure a safe working environment compliant with applicable regulations, driving preventive management at the plant and taking on coordination of property safety, business continuity, and preparation and follow-up of TISAX audits, in order to protect people, assets, critical information, and the company's operational continuity.

  • Develop and implement the Occupational Risk Prevention management system in accordance with policies defined by the area manager, coordinating the necessary preventive actions and ensuring technical, regulatory, and documentary compliance.
  • Promote a prevention culture through specific policies and communication, training, and awareness-raising actions.
  • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, preventive observations, and participate in incident investigations to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Participate in the design of new facilities to ensure they incorporate the necessary preventive measures from the outset.
  • Define, implement, and review the plant's physical and property safety measures.
  • Coordinate the security service and access control for staff, subcontractors, and visitors, overseeing perimeter protection measures, the CCTV system, and management of restricted areas.
  • Coordinate fire protection management (FP), including overseeing the maintenance and updating of detection, alarm, suppression, and evacuation systems, as well as emergency plans.
  • Identify critical plant processes and risks that could affect operational continuity and develop the corresponding preventive and recovery plans.
  • Lead the plant's preparation for TISAX audits, coordinating compliance with applicable controls with IT, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, HR, and all other involved areas.

  • Required: accredited training in Occupational Risk Prevention, senior level, with specialization in Workplace Safety and/or Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.

  • Previous experience in an industrial environment in technical HSE roles.

  • Additionally valued: specialization in Industrial Hygiene.
