  • Respond to and follow up on enquiries for corporate groups, meetings, incentives, and other MICE opportunities involving accommodation

  • Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and formalize contracts, incorporating rooms, event spaces, F&B, and related services where applicable

  • Prioritize opportunities according to hotel needs, availability, and revenue strategy, contributing to the achievement of commercial targets

  • Identify, develop, and nurture accounts with the potential to generate MICE group business with accommodation

  • Maintain regular commercial activity through calls, client visits, presentations, and account follow-ups

  • Conduct site inspections for prospective clients and groups at enquiry, tentative, and confirmed stages

  • Participate in assigned sales initiatives, industry networking events, and trade fairs

  • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships before, during, and after their stays, encouraging repeat business and long-term partnerships

  • Respond to incoming enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring an initial response within 24 hours

  • Identify client needs and tailor proposals to the hotel's product, standards, availability, and capabilities

  • Manage client questions, changes, and issues throughout the sales process, coordinating solutions with the relevant departments

  • Gather client feedback and share relevant insights internally to improve the product, service, and commercial processes

  • Ensure consistent follow-up from the initial enquiry through conversion, group delivery, and post-stay evaluation

  • Ensure that all contracted terms and group requirements are communicated accurately and comprehensively to the relevant departments

  • Coordinate rooming lists, cut-off dates, deposits, payments, cancellation terms, and other commercial and operational requirements

  • Prepare and maintain the internal documentation required for group stays and associated services

  • Participate in coordination and pre-convention meetings, facilitating the transfer of information between the client and operational teams

  • Monitor contractual commitments and any changes following confirmation, working closely with the relevant operational teams to ensure proper execution

  • Ensure continuity in the commercial management and follow-up of corporate and social events when the Sales Manager is off-property

  • Handle enquiries, conduct site inspections, and follow up on proposals and events within established commercial conditions and authorization levels

  • Coordinate with operational departments to ensure the necessary information, arrangements, and preparations are in place for events during this coverage

  • Keep the Sales Manager informed of decisions, changes, commitments, and outstanding matters, ensuring a smooth and organized handover upon their return

  • Keep leads, accounts, sales activities, and business blocks up to date in the PMS and relevant commercial systems

  • Accurately record opportunity status, revenue forecasts, decision dates, and reasons for lost business

  • Provide reliable and up-to-date information to Commercial Management and the Revenue Manager for group and revenue strategy meetings
