Animal Welfare Auditor

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine or Agricultural Engineering: The indispensable technical foundation to understand the reality of producers and animal health/welfare criteria.

• Driver's license and own vehicle: Your daily work tool to travel autonomously to production centers.

• Availability to travel and stay overnight away from home: Audits are carried out on-site, so you will require flexibility to move between different locations.

• Proficiency in Spanish (Catalan is valued): Necessary to communicate clearly with clients in the region and to prepare rigorous technical reports.

• Sensitivity to animal welfare and an empathetic attitude: Because you will deal daily with producers from the primary sector, and closeness is fundamental to providing value in every audit.

• Specialized training at our expense: We will train and certify you in reference schemes such as Welfair Animal Welfare and other key agri-food labels.

• Certify animal welfare standards: You will evaluate in the field (farms and production centers) compliance with key schemes such as Welfair, voluntary labeling, and technical regulations, ensuring that the food chain responds to the highest quality standards.

• Generate technical reports with real value: You will write the results and incidents of each audit in a clear and rigorous manner, providing the key information so that producers can apply continuous improvement to their facilities.

• Build relationships of trust in the sector: You will act as a key interlocutor for farmers and producers, providing close, empathetic, and professional treatment that facilitates certification processes.

• Organize your field activity with autonomy: You will plan your routes, visits, and timing to guarantee efficient management of each auditing process.
