Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Academic background: Degree in Industrial Technical Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Energy Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related qualification.

  • First contact with the sector: Experience in building installations, technical offices, installation consultancy, or technical control entities (OCT).

  • Regulatory fundamentals: Familiarity with the Technical Building Code (CTE) and key sectoral regulations (RITE, REBT, RIPCI), indispensable tools for performing technical reviews safely.

  • Personal skills: Technical curiosity, attention to detail, and a vocation for teamwork. We are looking for someone eager to learn and communicate clearly with clients and collaborators.

  • Mobility: Driving license B to carry out technical visits to construction sites and installations within the scope of the Málaga delegation.

The role

Are you looking for an environment where you can develop your technical foundation, have real autonomy, and grow professionally from day one?

At OCA Global, we want to hire a Building Technical Installations Engineer to join our Inspection and Technical Control team in the building area in Málaga, participating in the supervision and verification of thermal, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection installations.

At OCA Global, we work to make the world a safer and more efficient place. In this position, your main mission will be to ensure the technical compliance, reliability, and sustainability of installations in unique building projects within the Málaga delegation and its surroundings.

You will work side by side with top-tier architects, engineering firms, and developers to ensure that every project complies with the Technical Building Code (CTE) and industrial safety regulations. You will be part of a multidisciplinary technical team where you will consolidate your professional judgment in technical control, validation, and technical diagnosis, always with direct support and in an environment of constant learning.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and verify installations on-site (HVAC, RITE, low voltage, plumbing, and fire protection) to ensure the safety of people and rigorous compliance with construction projects, gaining practical experience on the ground.

  • Analyze technical documentation and execution projects (reports, calculations, plans, technical data sheets, and test protocols) to anticipate incompatibilities in the pre-execution phase, reinforcing your global vision of building engineering.

  • Issue clear and structured technical opinions and reports, providing viable technical solutions and improvement proposals for detected deviations, consolidating your reputation and technical judgment before clients and developers.

  • Provide technical support to clients and building agents, resolving complex regulatory and technical queries with the continuous support of the senior team.

  • Drive continuous improvement and digitalization in the technical inspection processes of the building area in Eastern Andalusia.

💡 Why join our project?

At OCA Global, the "how" we work is as important as the "what" we do:

  • Flat structure and agility: We work without heavy bureaucracy. Decisions are made quickly, and you will have a close and direct relationship with technical management.

  • Autonomy and trust: We trust your professional judgment. You will have the space to organize your technical missions independently.

  • Continuous learning: You will work alongside leading specialists in building control who will share their knowledge with you from the moment you join.

  • Working day

    • Standard schedule: Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 18:00 h.

    • Intensive schedule: Every Friday of the year, all holiday eves, and all days in July and August from 08:30 to 15:30 h.

    • Extra days off: December 24th and 31st are non-working days for the entire company.
