About the role

At OCN we are experts in the construction of high-value-added projects and we are looking for an Installations Site Manager, who will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for the execution of the installations packages of the project, as well as their technical and economic management. The area of work will be in Mallorca.

What you'll do

  • Manage the assigned teams (foremen and subcontractors) collaborating with the site foreman.

  • Ensure that quality, schedule, and economic objectives are met.

  • Represent the company towards the client and the Technical Management.

  • Control hiring and approve purchases, reporting directly to the Production Group Manager.

  • Supervise the project scope and propose modifications.

  • Economic closings (certifications and monthly results closings).

  • Project management in ERP (Economic Control).

  • Review awarded projects, study them, and analyze them. Review signed contracts and budgets.
  • Implementation and initial site layout.
  • Prepare the corresponding technical-economic project schedule and monitor its compliance, as well as its optimization.
  • Monitor the technical preparation and execution of the work, respecting the imposed safety measures and quality requirements.
  • Sign global material orders, budgets, and industrial contracts after review by the director. Determine the entry of industrial workers to the site, the quality of their work, their work pace, and review their invoices. Evaluate subcontracting companies and the work they perform.
  • Decide on the necessary auxiliary means for the correct execution of the work together with the site foreman.
  • Manage, control, and support the work of their collaborators (production managers, foremen, crew leaders, etc.).
  • Measurement of piecework, site personnel management, and assignment of tasks, in collaboration with the site foreman.
  • Promote and foster a good "atmosphere" on site.
  • Prepare, attend, and lead site visits.

Requirements

  • Engineering / Architecture / Technical Architecture / Building Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the management and direction of installations in building projects.

  • Specialization courses in Lean Construction and Project Management.

  • Experience with project management software, CAD, Microsoft Project is required.

  • Knowledge of REVIT is highly valued.

  • Experience with management programs (ERP).

  • Knowledge of other languages (English, German, or others) will be valued.
