With an intuitive design, advanced metrics to measure impact, and high data security standards, we empower companies, governments, and educational institutions to lead their talent development strategies and foster a culture of continuous and innovative learning.

Our team is truly international, bringing together the best talent from the education, media, content, and technology sectors.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will play an active role in developing end-to-end software solutions, bringing technical autonomy, decision-making judgment, and the ability to turn product needs into consistent, high-quality value deliveries.

Do you want to add value in a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement? 🤝 You have come to the right place. 🚀

We work in an AI-friendly environment; here, artificial intelligence tools are just another part of our daily stack 💻.. We use them to develop, iterate, and learn every day, and we are looking for someone who, like us, integrates them fully naturally into their day-to-day work. ✨

At ODILO, we work to transform the way the world learns. Our mission is to boost continuous learning for individuals and organizations through a flexible, secure digital platform that integrates content from multiple sources and adapts to every context.

What you'll do

  • Develop features and components of medium complexity autonomously, from technical analysis to implementation, validation, and deployment.

  • Participate in the technical design of solutions, evaluating aspects such as maintainability, scalability, performance, security, and user experience.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand the problem, align expectations, and land viable solutions.

  • Ensure software quality through good development practices, testing, code review, and monitoring of production behavior.

  • Analyze, resolve, and prevent technical incidents, contributing to system stability and continuous product improvement.

  • Actively participate in code reviews and share knowledge with other team members, helping to raise the collective technical level.

  • Propose improvements to components, processes, tools, or engineering practices that make the team more efficient and build more robust software.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the architecture and systems you work on, understanding the technical impact of your decisions.

  • Collaborate on planning and estimation of tasks, identifying risks, dependencies, and technical needs in advance.

  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives, tracking their progress and taking responsibility for the quality of the final outcome.

  • Leverage AI tools and capabilities (Copilot, Cursor, Claude...) to boost productivity, accelerate development, testing, documentation, and technical analysis tasks, and contribute to more efficient, higher-quality software delivery, while promoting continuous improvement through the exploration of these technologies and sharing this knowledge with the Engineering team.

  • Contribute to a team culture based on collaboration, continuous learning, shared responsibility, and constant improvement.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on projects with agile methodologies.

  • Interest in the edtech sector, digital products, and learning experiences.

What you'll get

  • Be part of an international, creative, and ambitious environment, where each person has a real impact and actively contributes to the company's growth.

  • Unlimited learning with ODILOFY, our own learning platform with more than 3 million pieces of content in all formats (books, audiobooks, videos, courses, films, and learning experiences).

  • Real flexibility: flexible work model with remote options, allowing you to organize your schedule in a way that truly works for you.

  • Hybrid work and intensive working hours during July and August (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM), to promote a better work-life balance.
