Requirements

What we're looking for

Technical or higher engineering degree.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with similar responsibilities in the engineering area within companies in the metallurgical sector.
Languages: English and/or Basque (no official certification required).
Knowledge of ANSYS and FEM simulation.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and DriveWorks.
Knowledge of environmental aspects inherent to production and workplace risks.
Capacity for work and resolution, organizational skills, and teamwork.

The role

From P&PD engineering (ATS Global), we are managing the selection process for a Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients, a leading company and world reference in the design and manufacture of plain bearings, located in Azkoitia.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will carry out the following functions:

Performing analytical technical calculations and project management.
Performing FEM technical calculations (ANSYS).
CAD mechanical design applied to bearings.
Monitoring compliance with customer specifications.
Monitoring and updating applicable regulations.
Participation in teams formed for the resolution of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective or improvement actions.
Participation in daily production and planning meetings.
