Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of electrical regulations: IEC, European Directives, Spanish Regulations.
Provide a minimum of 5 years of experience as a specialist in transformer protection, generation systems, and substations.
Advanced use of ETAP. Additionally, use of DigSilent will be valued.
English, minimum B2 level

The role

From the P&PD engineering department (ATS Global), we are managing the selection process for an Electrical Engineer - Protection Specialist for one of our clients based in Madrid.

What you'll do

Definition of control and protection systems.
Definition and preparation of single-line diagrams for protection and measurement of generation and transformation systems, substations, and lines.
Preparation of protection setting and coordination criteria.
Preparation of purchase specifications for protection panels and measurement panels.
Evaluation of bids for protection panels and measurement panels.
Coordination and protection setting calculations for generation systems, substations, and lines.
Preparation of control schemes and wiring diagrams for protection systems.
Review of manufacturer documentation and activation of the same.
Coordination with the client and the electric company.
Management of projects and involved personnel.
Support for commercial activity in the technical preparation of offers.
