The role

We are selecting an Electrical / Electronic Maintenance Technician for a global industrial company whose activity is the design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly of components for the automotive sector. Various components for powertrain, suspension, braking systems, etc.

Components manufactured through machining processes using CNC machining centers, CNC turning, grinding, drilling, etc. Previous origin of raw material or nodular/ductile iron casting.

The Electrical / Electronic Maintenance Technician will work in a production center (170 people) located in a town in the province of Lleida (90 km from Barcelona).

What you'll do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance actions for the Plant, in accordance with established procedures and instructions from the supervisor, with the aim of ensuring the proper functioning of the Plant's machinery and facilities.

Functions and responsibilities

Review and control machines and systems (electrical systems, electrical panels, self-starters, failure rates, etc.) on a daily basis, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the Plant's machinery.
Review and control the Plant's facilities to identify possible incidents and thus ensure their good condition.
Perform repairs of breakdowns to resolve the incident.
Carry out actions established in preventive maintenance (machine review regarding electrical, electronic, PLC backups, and robotics).
Perform the necessary checks during preventive maintenance to determine the additional activities required to guarantee the correct functioning of the machines.
Provide support in electrical assemblies and in the installation of new machinery
