The role

We are looking to hire a person for the position of 2nd Silverware & Stewarding Supervisor, responsible for supporting the coordination and supervision of the silverware and office area, ensuring compliance with the cleaning, organization, and operational standards established by the property.

The person in this role will have an operational and supervisory support focus, collaborating closely with the Silverware Manager to guarantee the correct functioning of the department. Their main objective will be to contribute to the efficiency of the area and the correct development of the service through adequate coordination of the team and available resources.

What you'll do

• Support the daily organization and supervision of the office and silverware team.
• Coordinate the correct cleaning and disinfection of utensils, tableware, glassware, and equipment.
• Supervise the replenishment of clean material during different services.
• Collaborate in the management of operational incidents within the department.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.

• Distribute tasks and monitor the activities of the team.
• Support the training and guidance of staff.
• Promote good practices in cleaning, order, and safety.
• Collaborate in the integration of new hires.
• Maintain constant communication with the area manager.

• Supervise the correct use of office machinery and equipment.
• Guarantee compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Report technical incidents or maintenance needs.
• Ensure the correct organization of work areas.
• Collaborate in the control and replenishment of materials necessary for operations.

• Collaborate with kitchen and dining room to ensure efficient operation.
• Guarantee the availability of material necessary for service.
• Support the resolution of last-minute operational needs.
• Facilitate communication between the silverware area and other departments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
