As 2nd chef, your mission will be to assist the Chef in the supervision and coordination of culinary operations

What will be your functions and responsibilities?

1. Related to team management:

• Collaborate with the department head with the following functions:
• Perform the onboarding of new hires
• Provide training to new hires in their department
• Discover talented workers and analyze the training needs of their team
• Organize, direct, and coordinate the work of the staff under their charge
• Motivate and involve the members of their team and resolve any problems that may arise among them

1. Related to department management:

• Strictly comply with safety, hygiene, and health regulations in the workplace
• Perform correct and professional service at all times
• Distribute and supervise the work of their team members
• Organize the team's work shifts and enter variables into the corresponding programs
• Ensure proper compliance with standards
• Ensure that their team employees wear the correct uniform and exhibit exemplary behavior
• Meet the objectives established by Management
• Attend meetings with their team, Management, and other departments
• Correctly transmit the necessary information to other departments, following the
• procedures established by the company for this purpose.
• Keep the Hotel Management informed and collaborate with them in the management of the establishment
• Support the team with their functions during peak workloads
• Clean utensils and store them in their designated place
• Attend to possible customer requests and incidents
• Control special customer requests
• Place orders with the storeroom
• Support the different stations, rotating through each of them (hot, cold, pastry)
• Management of culinary events (depending on whether the Hotel provides this service or not)
