Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrable experience building software, with credibility before engineering teams.

  • Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI tools for development (for example, GitHub Copilot).

  • At least one real implementation of RAG, an agentic workflow, a fine-tuned model, or an LLM integration in production.

  • Genuine track record driving AI adoption at a team level, with measurable changes.

  • Experience in technical teams of complex organizations, ideally regulated (financial or professional services).

  • Ability to move between coaching junior profiles and presentations to senior leadership.

  • Python is highly valued, along with practical knowledge of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or equivalents).

  • Experience with vector databases, embedding models, orchestration frameworks, evaluation, and observability.

  • Understanding of agentic AI patterns (tool use, planning, multi-agent coordination).

  • Knowledge of the particularities of a regulated financial environment (data sensitivity, compliance, risk appetite).

  • Ability to translate AI capabilities into business value (risk reduction, improved controls, efficiency, customer experience) for non-technical audiences.

  • Genuine curiosity about the intersection between AI and organizational design.

The role

We are looking for the first AI Strategy and Adoption Lead, Director, to lead the Artificial Intelligence strategy and adoption within Corporate Functions Technology, the technology area that supports Finance, Risk, and Compliance, and which has around 800 people globally.

The role is born within this new Hub, with an 18-month horizon and the expectation of continued growth from that point onwards. It is a newly created position: there is no previous structure to continue, but rather a team and an AI strategy to be built from day one.

You will report directly to the Head of Corporate Functions Technology. You will be the embedded AI reference for the delivery and operations teams, working side by side with the company's AI Center of Excellence, and leading the AI community of practice within Corporate Functions.

What you'll do

  • Lead AI adoption programs (such as "AI Open House"), sharing success stories and removing blockers.

  • Train and support teams and individuals in the practical use of AI: prompt engineering, generative AI functionalities, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows.

  • Create and energize the AI community of practice, and maintain a shared knowledge base (use cases, prompt libraries, lessons learned, tools).

  • Organize lightweight experimentation: challenges, hackathons, discovery sprints.

  • Act as a strategic AI reference to Corporate Functions leadership, translating financial sector trends into the Center of Excellence roadmap.

  • Advise business areas on how to apply AI to their processes, in terms of business value.

  • Design, build, and iterate AI tools and prototypes (RAG pipelines, LLM-based applications, agentic workflows) linked to real business processes.

  • Evaluate AI models, platforms, and tools with technical criteria and a production orientation.

How you'll work

Conditions:
🎯 Newly created role, as the first AI Director of the function
🌍 Global impact, within a consolidated multinational financial company
🏢 Hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 days teleworking
📈 Project in the construction phase, with real margin for growth looking 18 months ahead
🤝 Direct hiring, without intermediation from external consultancies
