R&D Intern

Integrated into the Technical R&D department and with the direct mentorship of your assigned tutor, your main responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of recipes in the pilot plant, adjusting ingredients, textures, doughs, and sensory profiles according to the standards set by the team.
• Support in industrial trials on production lines, analyzing the behavior of formulations during kneading, baking, and packaging processes.
• Complete characterization of products, evaluating physical, chemical, and organoleptic parameters through standardized methodologies.
• Parameterization and product quality control, recording experimental data for technical decision-making.
• Preparation of technical monitoring reports, documenting pilot trials and analytical results for the departmental archive. Maintenance and fine-tuning of equipment and utensils in the pilot plant area, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

To apply for the R&D Intern vacancy, it is fundamental that you meet the following aspects:

• Formal academic training: currently studying or finishing a Degree or Higher Level Vocational Training in Bakery, Pastry and Confectionery, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, or Agri-food Industry Engineering.
• Possibility of signing a Collaboration Agreement with your university, vocational training center, or technical school.
• Vocation for technical experimentation: initiative, scientific curiosity, and a great desire to propose creative solutions to formulation challenges.
• Teamwork skills, dynamism, and communication capacity in interdisciplinary technical environments.
• Previous experience is valuable: having completed previous internships or research projects in the agri-food field will be highly valued, although it is not an exclusive requirement.
• Residency or availability for daily commuting to Villarejo de Salvanés (Madrid).

• Collaboration agreement for training internships, designed so that you acquire real and highly valued competencies in the market.
• Personalized and close tutoring throughout the program alongside the expert technical team from Cuétara.
• Continuous and organized schedule: working days from Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00, and on Fridays from 08:30 to 15:00 so that you can enjoy your weekend.
• Development in a cutting-edge technological environment, in direct contact with both the pilot plant and real industrial lines.
