Requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience: Minimum 2-3 years as a cook in traditional cuisine restaurants, high-volume cider houses, or banquet/catering services.
Technical proficiency: Proficiency in preparing stews, market-based Asturian cuisine, meats, and fish, as well as agility in managing service rounds.
Attitude and values: An organized person, with the ability to work under pressure during peak times and a good predisposition toward teamwork.
Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends/holidays according to the club's event calendar and activity.

Nice to have

Residency in Oviedo or surrounding areas with ease of commuting to the workplace is valued.

The role

We are selecting a Cook to join the catering team of an emblematic social and sports club located in Oviedo. We are looking for an experienced professional with proficiency in station management, a good attitude, and the ability to provide agility in both daily service and high-volume banquet events. If you are motivated to work in a professional environment with high service standards, we want to meet you!

What you'll do

Preparation, mise en place, and execution of service rounds across the various kitchen stations (starters, meats, fish, desserts).
Development of proposals for daily menus, menu suggestions, and special menus for events or sporting tournaments.
Control of production volume, ensuring output times, impeccable presentation, and product quality.
Reception, quality inspection, correct storage, and preservation of raw materials.
Rigorous compliance with hygiene, cleaning, and food safety regulations, as well as maintenance of the work area.
