Shift Leader with Forklift License

Required experience: Demonstrable previous experience in leadership, management, and coordination of operational teams within industrial environments, manufacturing plants, or demanding logistics sectors.

Machinery and certifications: Theoretical-practical training and experience in the handling of front forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stackers (experience with hoist/overhead crane is a plus).

Minimum education: Completed EGB / ESO.

Linguistic competencies: Fluent command of Catalan and Spanish (spoken and written).

Mobility: B driving license and own vehicle for commuting to the workplace, with preference for residence in the La Garrotxa region or neighboring municipalities.

Key competencies: Decision-making capacity, autonomy, assertive communication, excellent planning, teamwork, and high resistance to working under pressure.

In your day-to-day as the industrial shift manager at the production plant, you will be the person in charge of guaranteeing the continuity, quality, and efficiency of daily operations, performing the following main responsibilities:

Leadership and personnel management: direction, motivation, organization, and direct supervision of the shift's operational team, unifying work criteria and ensuring an appropriate working climate.

Production and quality control: monitoring the shift planning, controlling compliance with final product quality standards, and prevention/management of operational incidents.

Technical supervision and operational support: basic monitoring of machine operation and programming, offering occasional support in operational service tasks (handling of paper, packages, packaging material, coils, and product finishing).

OHS and environmental management: control, monitoring, and assurance of strict compliance with occupational risk prevention regulations, safety procedures, and order and cleanliness standards (5S).

Interlocution and reporting: direct communication and continuous integration with the Service Manager for the reporting of shift metrics, projections, and improvement plans.
