Loading and Unloading Assistant

Stability and continuous project: Joining a consolidated team in a high-volume logistics center.

Technological environment: Work in facilities equipped with automated sorting systems (sorter) and digital tools (PDA guns/scanners).

Training and safety: Initial operational training in stowage standards, PDA handling, and strict Occupational Risk Prevention protocols (full PPE provided from day one).

Support: Direct and close support from the Coordination and Service Management team.

At Randstad, we are selecting warehouse assistants to integrate into the sorting and goods preparation operations in the Jundiz Industrial Estate. We are looking for active, committed people oriented toward teamwork who want to contribute agility and quality to the daily parcel flow.

In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for maintaining the rhythm and operational quality in the different phases of the parcel flow:

Sorter Feeding:

• Agile loading and tipping of goods onto the induction/feeding belt to ensure continuous flow toward the sorter.

Collection and Clearing of Chutes:

• Reception of parcels evacuated by the sorter chutes, avoiding collapses or accumulations of packages on ramps or the floor. - Occasional support to the overflow/rejection area to maintain operational fluidity during volume peaks.

Palletization and Stowage by Destination:

• Classification and assembly of pallets by assigned destination, avoiding route mixes (missorts).
• Correct and safe stowage of goods: heavy packages at the base, light ones on top, plumbed, strapped, and compliance with the height limit (up to 2.60 m).

Order Picking and PDA Use:

• Reading, scanning, and verification of barcodes/labels using PDA terminals.
• Identification, marking, and notification of incidents or items without labels.

Order and Safety:

• Placement of consumables (empty pallets, film rolls, labels).
• Mandatory use of safety boots, reflective vest, and gloves, always keeping transit routes clear.
