Requirements

What we're looking for

Qualifications: Degree in Technical Engineering, Higher Engineering, or a Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, Mechatronics, or similar).

Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Manager, Lead Engineer, or similar in complex product development processes (experience in the railway or aerospace sector is highly valued).

Languages: C1 level of English (essential for technical meetings and international communication).

Management and Leadership: Demonstrable experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, decision-making, and managing technical relationships with clients and suppliers.

Project Control: Proficiency in managing engineering budgets, cost control, schedules, and planning tools.

What you'll get

Permanent contract.

Compensation package consisting of fixed salary, variable salary, and pension plan.

Health insurance, available for both you and your family.

Flexible working hours (entry from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and exit from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) with intensive working hours in summer. Possibility of 2 days of teleworking after completing the 6-month probationary period.

Technical Product Leadership | Railway Sector

We are presenting a position as Technical Product Manager in Madrid for a No. 1 company and global benchmark in the railway sector.

Your mission? Lead product engineering across all phases, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and acting as the technical reference point for international clients and suppliers.

Technical and strategic challenge: Coordination of the full lifecycle of a high-tech product.

What you'll do

Full-lifecycle technical leadership: Taking overall technical responsibility for the product from the bidding phase through certification, validation, and handover to after-sales.

Proposal and strategy definition: Developing the technical product proposal for new bids based on the company's strategy.

Multidisciplinary team coordination: Aligning and leading the various engineering areas in project development, setting milestones, goals, and overseeing progress.

Financial management and planning: Preparing and controlling the engineering budget, managing costs, schedules, and planning tools.

Single point of contact and change management: Acting as the technical reference for the client and evaluating and incorporating technical change requests into the project plan and budget.

Risk management and stakeholder communication: Identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities, implementing action plans, and negotiating specifications with both clients and suppliers.
