Mechanical Supervisor

What will your mission be?

Organize, coordinate, and supervise the execution of works specific to the specialty, diagnostic checking and repair of breakdowns, and implementation of improvements, in accordance with current regulations, Safety, Quality, and Environment policies, and the guidelines set by Management.

Main responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate internal and contracted resources and provide technical support within the functional scope of their specialty.
• Participate in the implementation and development of Standards and Procedures and motivate their personnel to comply with them.
• Fulfill the maintenance planning, guaranteeing the execution of the daily work program and compliance with the preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with the Statutory Inspection Plan and its reporting to the document management system.
• Collaborate in the development of the tasks necessary to fulfill the obligations of the Compliance Programme within their scope of competence.
• Ensure coordination between Maintenance and Operations through the necessary communications and meetings.
• Participate in the preparation and control of the Maintenance budget.
• Prepare technical specifications, define control mechanisms, and participate in the procurement process for works.
• Train the personnel under their charge and recommend training courses.
• Collaborate with Planning to ensure that spare parts and stock levels are necessary and cooperate with Purchasing to make the best acquisition of materials and services.

What profile are we looking for?

Training and Knowledge:

• Preferably, an Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience or knowledge recognized by the company, supplemented by specific studies and/or extensive experience.
• Standards for maintenance and safety procedures.
• Specialist-level knowledge in the use of measurement tools.
• Specialist-level knowledge of the use of mechanical tools and equipment.
• General knowledge of the Hydrometallurgical Plant and Water Processes.
• Advanced knowledge of interpreting blueprints and manuals.
• High level of Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of integrated management systems (quality, environment, and health and safety).
• Very advanced knowledge of the use of maintenance management systems (CMMS and ERP).
• Upper-intermediate English level
• Driver's license and own vehicle.

Experience:

• Having experience in the sector is highly valued.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the described position performing similar functions.
