Position Mission and Responsibilities
In the structures section, TMAs primarily carry out structural and mechanical repairs of engine parts, which require great precision in performance in accordance with the strict tolerances of aeronautical products.
Job duties
· Disassembly/assembly of combustion chambers, using precision tooling
· Inspection and evaluation of damage to panels and subassemblies of the combustion chambers
· IT management of materials (status/orders)
· Removal of ceramic coatings
· Surface preparation/mechanical cleaning of combustion chamber components
· Crack repairs by welding
· Feathering of damage or defects with manual/electric/pneumatic tools
· General bodywork, area shaping, patching, and riveting
· Replacement/repair of inserts and threaded elements (inserts, threaded studs, thread repair, nut flaring/riveting, …)
