The role

Randstad is managing, for ALIER S.A., a leading and benchmark company in industrial sustainability, the recruitment of a Laboratory Technician for its new gypsum board recycling plant at the Recycling Technology Park in Zaragoza.

What you'll do

Perform physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of raw materials, work in progress, and finished products.
Take and prepare samples according to established procedures.
Record test results in the defined formats and systems.
Monitor quality parameters of the production process according to the established frequency.
Verify the proper condition and basic calibration of laboratory equipment.
Report any relevant quality deviation to the Quality Manager.
Collaborate on root cause investigations related to quality deviations.
Support internal and external audits by providing laboratory information and records.

Requirements

Required Education: Industrial Technical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or similar.

Required Experience: Two years of experience in a Quality Department within the Industrial sector.

Solid technical knowledge

Laboratory testing, quality control, handling of measuring

equipment, data recording, and basic quality and safety standards.
