The role
At RDT, we want to expand our team with an Industrial Engineer with experience in the Hydraulic field who wants to take responsibility for conceptual design development (basic dimensions, operating characteristics, thermal calculations...) and the definition and sizing of the different systems that make up the furnaces (combustion system, hydraulics, pneumatics...).
What you'll do
- Develop concepts and preliminary designs of industrial furnaces focused on efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
- Prepare and validate schematics of combustion, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Integrate thermodynamic knowledge into the design of heating and temperature control systems.
- Propose and validate calculations and simulations to optimize energy efficiency and operational safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the selection of components and materials.
- Document designs and prepare technical specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industrial safety standards.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
- Solid knowledge of thermodynamics applied to industrial processes.
- Knowledge of combustion, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process control systems. Preparation of P&IDs and BOMs.
- Ability to perform calculations, simulations, and performance analyses.
- Ability to work in a team, communicate technical ideas, and solve complex problems.
- AUTOCAD at an intermediate or advanced level.
