The role

At RDT we are selecting a Civil Works Manager to join our advanced engineering team in Bilbao.

The Civil Works Technical Office Manager's main mission will be to provide direct technical support to the construction site, ensuring the proper resolution of queries and technical decision-making in coordination with the engineering team. Their role will be key to ensuring that execution progresses efficiently and in line with the project objectives.

What you'll do

1. Collect, manage and resolve the technical needs of the production team.

2. Oversee the generation of specific drawings derived from modifications, changes in criteria or adjustments in execution.

3. Identify potential technical deviations in execution and propose solutions to minimize impacts on costs and deadlines.

4. Support the Quality team. Geotechnical matters, execution procedures, testing and on-site tests.

5. Ensure compliance with applicable technical regulations and quality standards in the execution of the works.

6. Participate in site meetings to ensure the correct transmission of technical information between the different teams involved.

7. Verify that field execution conforms to engineering drawings and specifications.

8. Rely on the production team to carry out necessary surveys and checks in the field.

This profile requires a high capacity for analysis, problem-solving, leadership and coordination between different work teams, ensuring that the site has the necessary technical support for its proper execution.
