What you'll do

1. Collaborate in the design, definition, and maintenance of a model for Redeia's computer applications that provides business units with an integrated, high-quality, and efficient service, contributing to the achievement of objectives, supporting units in identifying needs, and providing a global vision of information systems.

2. Monitor the implementation of approved procedures at the IT Department level for the development and maintenance of applications.

3. Analyze the needs of business units and plan the implementation processes for new applications and improvements or modifications to existing ones, maintaining their technological suitability through the application portfolio management process, within their functional scope.

4. Conduct global monitoring of application demand within their assigned functional area, prioritizing and planning necessary tasks and collaborating with internal resources responsible for applications to achieve business objectives.

5. Analyze and identify Redeia's business needs regarding computer applications, excluding the control systems scope.

6. Manage the department's processes for contracting new services and projects, as well as carrying out contractual follow-up.

7. Manage the relationship with suppliers regarding application development and maintenance services.

What we're looking for

  • Studies in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent training
  • More than 4 years of experience as a process and applications analyst and requirements gathering
  • More than 1 year of experience directing and coordinating IT projects
  • Technical knowledge in application development on AWS and/or Java
  • Valuable experience in agile and traditional project management methodologies
  • Valuable knowledge of the Spanish electricity system
  • Valuable experience in "testing" activities: design and execution of functional and user tests
  • Intermediate English
