We are looking to hire an RF Corporate Operations professional to join the Business Development team at Redeia Corporación.

What you'll do

  • Execute the Strategic Plan in the scope of expanding the business base, ensuring compliance with the profitability criteria defined at Redeia.
  • Identify, qualify, and coordinate the execution of business opportunities, assessing their strategic relevance, profitability, valuation, and associated risks, and analyzing the financing structure, partners, business plan, and operational structure.
  • Promote and develop commercial relationships with potential partners, public bodies, companies, and entities, with the aim of identifying and developing future business opportunities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business development projects, ensuring the quality and expected profitability levels.
  • Coordinate the execution of the necessary actions with the different areas of Redeia involved, to formalize the signing of asset and/or company purchase and sale processes at Redeia.

Education & certifications

Higher university degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent qualifications. Postgraduate training in Strategy, Business Management, Energy, or Corporate Finance will be positively valued.

Solid knowledge of business development models, investment analysis, corporate opportunity assessment, and monitoring of strategic projects in complex and regulated environments.

Building and reviewing complete financial models (greenfield and brownfield projects), company valuation under different methodologies, and analytical capacity to draw actionable conclusions for decision-making bodies.

Synthesis and executive communication skills, preparing presentations for decision-making bodies.

Understanding of the energy and/or infrastructure sector, especially regarding:

  • Regulated and non-regulated business models.
  • Profitability criteria, risk, and long-term value creation.
  • Interaction between corporate strategy and operational execution.

Ability to work with financial-economic information, business plans, projections, and dashboards, without needing to be a purely financial expert.

Languages

English: advanced level, commonly used in international corporate environments (analysis, documentation, communication).

Advanced proficiency in office and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, reporting tools), with experience in strategic monitoring corporate tools being valued.

Experience

Relevant prior professional experience, typically 5 to 8 years, in:

  • Business development.
  • Corporate strategy.
  • Operational strategy.
  • Strategic consulting or business consulting, or
  • Corporate areas in large companies, preferably in the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sector.

Demonstrated experience in the functional coordination of strategic initiatives, working with multiple internal areas (finance, accounting, tax, regulation, legal, technical, etc.) and external advisors (consultants, financial and legal advisors, etc.) in an M&A or tender process.

Participation in cross-functional projects, corporate transactions, investment opportunity analysis, or deployment of strategic plans. Coordination of M&A or tender processes from start to finish (analysis, valuation, interaction with advisors, and support for decision-making).

No prior experience in hierarchical team management is required, but the ability to work in a team, functional leadership, and cross-cutting influence are required.
